Travel hacks for Hemp CBD

Travel hacks for Hemp CBD

Spring is almost here! We know for some it screams vacation time is almost here! You’ve probably been planning your get-away since the first cold cold snap of winter. Your first choice in vaca spots is not where but how you are going to get there.

Fly or Drive? Does either of these give you chills of anxiety? We can totally relate!

If the thought of hovering 35,000 feet above the ground in a giant metal cylinder causes you anxiety, you’re not alone. As many as a quarter of Americans suffer from some degree of flight anxiety, and some people grow anxious at the very sight of an airplane.

If you’re dreading an upcoming flight, there are ways you can manage your anxiety and reach your destination in peace. Some travelers opt for in-flight cocktails, others for prescription medication. One of the simplest and most natural remedies, though, is Prescott’s whole plant hemp extract.

Hemp Extract doesn’t lead to intoxication on its own. However, it does appear to have a positive impact on anxiety. In laboratory and clinical trials, Whole Plant Hemp Extract has been shown to reduce both the behavioral and physiological effects of anxiety.

If you want to experience the greatest anti-anxiety benefit on a flight, however, you’ll need to plan your pre-flight consumption carefully.

What’s the best way to use Prescott’s Hemp Extract?

If you want to experience the greatest anti-anxiety benefit on a flight, however, you’ll need to plan your pre-flight consumption carefully. Arguably one of the best and most effective ways to consume CBD is using CBD oil as an oral application. There are a number of benefits to this method:

-Very little is required. Just place the liquid under your tongue, wait about a minute, and then swallow.

-Prescott’s whole plant hemp extract oils require only the active ingredients and a carrier oil. There are no added chemicals or ingredients.

-Broad Spectrum oil is free of THC. Since high concentrations of THC can actually exacerbate anxiety symptoms, this ensures that there are no unpleasant side effects.

-This method doesn’t require you to haul around a vape pen or other paraphernalia (which can cause tremendous headaches when you’re dealing with airport security).

When should I take my Hemp Extract?

If you do opt for the oil solution, you’ll want to take it about a half hour before your flight. On average, the benefits should take effect within 20-40 minutes, and the effect should last between 4 and 6 hours. If you’re new to hemp extract, start with a low dosage. We suggest Prescott’s 500mg at 20 drops which is 1ml.

Which brings me to my next thought… You can’t travel with Hemp Extract.

Ok you will get those few that say I have no problem, but YOU could even though TSA states: Accordingly, TSA security officers do not search for marijuana or other illegal drugs, but in the event a substance that appears to be marijuana or a cannabis-infused product is observed during security screening, TSA will refer the matter to a law enforcement officer.

So it can get you into a tight spot. Here are a few tips:

Take your oil before you go to the airport. This ensures by the time you board, you’re feeling the benefits and anxiety is low. Plus no bottles.

Second, if you are set on taking your product with you, research and find a zero thc product with labs. Prescott’s broad spectrum 500 and 1000 are zero thc. Carry your labs with you to ensure quality if checked along with a business card to the store.

Are we saying this will get your bottle back, possibly not? It all depends on who is asking the questions. Just remember to stay calm and understand the TSA police are just trying to do their jobs.

Pack your bottle in a nice secure travel bag with labs inside in your checked luggage. Make sure that bag is leakproof in case your bag goes through the wringer making it’s way back to you.

Third, Mail your bottle.  Notify your lodging destination that you will be receiving a package and to hold it at the front desk, please.

What about Vape? Can I use it and take it with me?

Yes, you can. This isn’t going to give you hours of relief but can welcome it aboard with you.

“The FAA prohibits these devices in checked baggage. Battery-powered E-cigarettes, vaporizers, vape pens, atomizers, and electronic nicotine delivery systems may only be carried in the aircraft cabin (in carry-on baggage or on your person). Check with your airline for additional restrictions. Remove all electronic cigarette and vaping devices from carry-on bags if checked at the gate or planeside.”

Since vaping liquid is, in fact, a liquid, you must follow normal security rules regarding liquids. This means you can bring vaping liquid in your carry on as long as the container is 3.4 ounces (100ml) or smaller, larger amounts must be packed in your checked luggage.

Everyone has a charger, various vape accessories, and other travel kit essentials that are required upon arrival. Instead of making a stop at a random shop, pack all your vaping accessories in a sleek, discreet smell proof vape case. Traveling is a lot easier when you’re mind is at peace, knowing everything you need is safe and sound, ready for arrival.

Ok, so I have other products like salve, lotion, and gumdrops?

We totally understand your need to carry all of these items. However, follow the same rules as above. Pack neatly. Remember you are only allowed certain ounces of lotion and other liquids on planes.

Out of sight: Out of Mind.

While TSA isn’t actively looking for your personal stash, it doesn’t help to advertise it with flashy colors, loose supplies, and stereotypical prints. The Safety Case itself and all of its components are perfectly legal to fly with.

Things to remember: If you are traveling outside the US, other countries have stricter laws! You must go through customs and there could be a serious situation if caught traveling with anything cannabis or hemp related!

Since you will be crossing from one country to another, you can rightfully expect tighter security measures. Governments can easily get involved, which can put you in serious situations with the law. Some countries are more lax than others, with certain territories sustaining major prison sentences and even the death penalty for cannabis possession. So make your decision wisely.

This is why it is never advised to fly internationally with any potentially illegal substance, even if it is a non-psychoactive product such as CBD. You can do your due diligence and read up on international laws, but generally, it is not something worth getting in trouble for.

Now since we have probably given you way more information about traveling with Prescott’s you should feel very confident in your traveling ability.

Remember traveling with the right carry bags leaves you calm. When you are worried about leakage or flagging systems your anxiety becomes heightened and could cause you some problems.

You got this! Now go travel the world!
